Hi, my name is Darren Olander.. I am 23 years old and enjoying the benefits of working full time from home. The thing I love most about what I do is the time freedom… Honestly THIS is my dream job!

Let’s look at how I got started… I knew that the commonly believed way of living a successful life by getting good grades, going to college, and starting a good career was NOT for me. But don’t get me wrong… in school I was always the top of my class, and in fact was ranked in the top one percent of the nation’s high school students by “Who’s Who”. I have achieved many accomplishments in school, but unfortunately school teaches you to acquire knowledge, not how to use it. That is one major flaw in the school system. School mainly teaches people to be good employees, not how to be a good employer and hire good employees. Do not settle for less than you deserve, because when you do, that is when you receive less than you settled for. Instead of working all my life and making enough just to get by I decided I wanted to be my own boss. I just didn’t know how. That is when I heard about Network Marketing from an ad I saw online. At first I was very skeptical because of the reputation it had attained through the general public. After much research and experience it is obvious that network marketing is designed to be completely ethical and legal business if run by the right people. Network Marketing is even more rewarding and sound than a traditional business. I plan on helping dispose of the myths that are commonly believed about our industry. I don’t think network marketing is for everyone… some people prefer to work for someone else their whole life and there is nothing wrong with that.. It’s just not who I am.

I got started in network marketing in the year 2002. In my first couple years of network marketing I was inexperienced just like anybody who first starts out. It was tough because I did not have a sponsor to work with me and show me the ropes. Gladly, the difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. If you are really willing to succeed and help others do the same then everything else will follow. In my first businesses I became involved in I was granted Administrator and moderator privileges of their forums, and become close contacts with the owners themselves in assisting my growing membership in updates of the companies progress. During this time I grew a lot because I learned a lot of the wrong things to do! Still I am happy of where I have headed, because action may not always bring happiness, but there is no happiness without action. After hitting failure and failure I kept persevering and got up. A quitter never wins, and a winner never quits! After a while everything totally changed, I was excited to start discovering some real methods to building my online empire and in my strong belief that if you can help others succeed you will be successful, I started my first website. I named it the Get Rich Ideas Network. The website comprised of many forum members who I still work with to this day! As my research and success slowly grew I started separate training websites and informational sites about network marketing in an effort to dispose of the myths that many people have placed on our industry and its validity. I also proved that network marketing is possible for anyone who wants to learn.

During the progress of this community it was somehow started to be referred to as GRIN, which of course is short for Get Rich Ideas Network. I operate on one golden rule which is Do unto others what you would want others to do unto you. Treat people as if they were what they should be, and you help them become what they are capable of becoming. This is what I live by and this is what I look back to before each decision is made. Times may change but my values will always endure. Honesty. Integrity. Trust. My values are the source of my strength. They will always remain in the deepest part of my heart. I strive for the highest quality in products, services, and relationships. I set and maintain the highest standards to all aspects of my work. This bio is an example as I have put my best quality work and thought into it. I advance and grow my business honestly and ethically, taking no shortcuts that might compromise those high standards. I recognize and respect the cultures, customs and practices of membership in nations around the world. I am ever mindful of the trust others put in me, I will never knowingly or willfully undermine that trust.

Shortly after moving to California (I grew up in Minnesota) I found and began to be in communication with many well-known internet marketers who began and continue to teach me their secrets to their success. These are people who ethically make five or six figures a month! I believe Mark Twain when he says to keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. As I learn more and more (even though now I know more than 95% of marketers, I believe you should continuously learn more) I plan to share my knowledge with others to further our vision. There are two types of people who never achieve much in their lifetime. The person who won’t do what he is told, and the person who does no more than he is told. I will be the person who exceeds everyone’s expectations and tries to make a positive change in others’ lives.

I have been fortunate enough to start generating a very nice income from my online businesses and websites and I have worked full time from home (quitting my job) since January of 2007!
